Remake. I think it's okay that great classics being re-made, as long as the re-maker is truly faithful and passionate about the original piece, and really putting their art and heart into it. And I honestly believe in Joe Wright (if he's really going to direct it). And as apparently he find his muse in Keira Knightley*), I think it's gonna be a pretty fair-enough re-make, I'm waiting for it (DVD if there's any, lol). Sometimes it needs a remake for newer generation to get acquainted with the classics.

Oh, on the contrary, I think it's okay for Keira to portray Eliza Dolittle, it's not a biopic, is it? I saw a Jennifer Love Hewitt portraying Audrey Hepburn once [2000], as in she is playing her, THE Audrey Hepburn. I was like: oh, wish it was Nat Portman. But of course Nat was just 19yo (and was busy doing Star Wars I think).

Oh, Ashley Greene said she'd love to do Audrey Hepburn biopic.

*) Pride and Prejudice [2005], Atonement [2007], Coco Mademoiselle Ad Campaign [2007]. Together with the DoP (Seamus McGarvey), they deliver some of the most memorably stunning and exquisite cinematography, if I may say.
