( I changed the background image again, lol. I think I like it better now. What do you think? )

The community's got a new look! New header, background, & layout.
Check it out: [livejournal.com profile] my_fair_audrey

Like it? What do you think? :]

And just so you know, I've decided to put the community under moderated membership.
This is because of all the trollers & spammers who have been joining the comm & have tried (over & over again) to post stupid things here. I thought mabe it would stop, but after baning/removing 4 people this past week alone .... ugh, I can't take it anymore. So hopefully this will help keep those people away.
All Audrey Hepburn fans are still welcome to join the community, but I just want to make sure they actually are fans (not trollers) before I let them in here.

PS: Sorry for the lack of posts lately! I'll try to post more often from now on <3

Audrey Hepburn has been named the most beautiful woman of the past century, beating stars such as Cheryl Cole and Angelina Jolie.

The British-born star, famed for her classic glam pose in a black Givenchy dress, pearls and gloves in 1961 film Breakfast At Tiffany's, topped a poll for shopping channel QVC.

The actress - who died in 1993 - narrowly held off the nation's 21st century crush, Cheryl Cole, who took the runner-up spot.

Third place went to Some Like It Hot siren Marilyn Monroe, famed for her pout and classic curves.

Angelina Jolie was fourth and another classic silver screen beauty, Grace Kelly, made an appearance in fifth position.

Scarlett Johansson, Halle Berry, Diana, Princess of Wales, Kelly Brook and Jennifer Aniston also made the top 10.

The survey was carried out by QVC to celebrate the start of its Beauty Month throughout July. More than 2,000 women were asked to choose the top beauties of the past 100 years.

1. AUDREY HEPBURN
2. HER ROYAL MAJESTY, THE BEAUTIFUL MISS CHERYL COLE
3. MARILYN MONROE
4. ANGELINA JOLIE
5. GRACE KELLY
6. SCARLETT JOHANSSON
7. HALLE BERRY
8. DIANA, PRINCESS OF WALES
9. KELLY BROOK
10. JENNIFER ANISTON
